Red Sheet-kun is designed to keep study materials on your device. Selected content is sent only when you request an AI generation or proofreading feature, and only as needed to complete that request.
1. Information handled by the app
Depending on the features you use, the app may handle camera images, photos, PDFs, image files, exported files, settings, purchase status, app usage information, and crash or error information.
2. Camera and study materials
Camera images, scanned images, and imported study files are processed for red-sheet display, image correction, saving, and export. Saved study data is stored on the device. If iCloud is enabled, metadata and related app data may sync through your private iCloud / CloudKit storage linked to your Apple ID.
3. AI generation and proofreading
When you use AI to create a vocabulary book or study note, add items, or proofread text, the theme, level, text, selected range, and selected image or PDF page data you provide are sent through Cloudflare Workers to AI model providers configured by us. This information is used to return the generation or proofreading result you requested.
These inputs are not sent to analytics, advertising, crash investigation, or purchase-validation services. Source images, PDFs, input text, and OCR text are not stored in the credit ledger or product analytics events, and their contents are not recorded in logs.
4. AI output quality reports
If you explicitly submit a quality report about generated output, the report category and optional comment are sent. The option to include generated output is off by default, and the output is sent only when you turn that option on. Input prompts, source images or PDFs, OCR text, purchase information, and AI provider error details are not included in quality reports.
Report metadata and whether a comment was provided are retained in D1 for 180 days. Optional comment text and generated output you explicitly choose to include are stored in R2 and deleted after 30 days.
5. Purchases, ads, analytics, and crash investigation
Purchase validation may use Apple and RevenueCat. Ads and consent management may use Google AdMob / User Messaging Platform. Basic install and advertising-related analytics may use Firebase / Google Analytics. Product usage analytics may use PostHog. Crash and error investigation may use Sentry.
6. Data not sent to analytics, ads, crash, or purchase services
Study images, PDFs, exported files, OCR text, page contents, file names, and local file paths are not sent to analytics, advertising, crash investigation, or purchase-validation services.
7. PostHog and Sentry safeguards
PostHog automatic screen capture, session replay, screenshots, and person profile collection are disabled. Sentry is configured not to send personal information, screenshots, view hierarchy, session replay, network tracing, or performance traces.
8. Storage and sync
Captured materials, imported pages, annotations, page settings, and tags may be stored on the device and may sync through private iCloud / CloudKit storage linked to your Apple ID. The actual contents of study images and PDFs are not sent to external analytics, advertising, crash, or purchase services.
9. Contact
The in-app support form sends the category and message you enter, an optional reply email address, Support ID, app version and build, OS version, device type, language setting, and app-integrity information used to prevent abuse. Study images, PDFs, page contents, and OCR text are not attached to support requests.
Requests are stored in Cloudflare D1 through Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare Email Service notifies the support team. We use this information to reply, investigate, improve the app, and prevent abuse. Resolved or ignored requests are deleted 365 days after closure. Unresolved requests are retained until support work is complete.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated when necessary. Important changes will be announced in the app or on this page.
